I have fond memories of visiting my grandparents in the Midwest during the summer months, and one of our traditions was exploring the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. Those early visits sparked a deep appreciation for the incredible variety of plants and trees around us and planted the idea that I wanted to care for beautiful landscapes myself.
For more than 20 years, I’ve been learning about landscape design, land stewardship, and the safe, skilled use of tools to enhance outdoor spaces. I’ve worked on estates in the Northeast mowing acres of lawn, planting native landscapes, and pruning trees to support healthy growth. I’ve been hired to restore a wide range of properties—not by clearing everything out and starting over, but by taming what’s already there, pruning thoughtfully, and removing accumulated growth so established landscapes feel refreshed, like a home with a new coat of paint. After time spent in insurance, hospitality, and carpentry, I felt the pull back to my original passion: working outdoors, maintaining lawns and landscapes, and helping them thrive. |
